Research collaborations with European and African universities and institutions. EU-funded projects that place sustainability at the heart of innovation.
PROSPER
An EU-funded research and innovation project (Horizon – CBE Joint Undertaking), led by Ghent University. Goal: to demonstrate the technical and financial viability of recycling bio-based and biodegradable plastic packaging across European markets, with a focus on countries where separate collection systems are still limited.
WARM
A project funded by the Erasmus+ programme (KA2) addressing waste management challenges in West Africa through education and innovation. WARM promotes the circular economy as a concrete tool for sustainable development, building institutional capacity in African partner universities.
AGRECOFARM
An Erasmus+ project (KA2) supporting African partner universities in becoming knowledge hubs for sustainable agroecology. The project develops new curricula and a Master's programme integrating applied research and sustainable farming practices for local communities in West Africa.
FOODTURE
A European project that aims to make food system impacts visible, understandable and measurable. Through precision methodologies and open knowledge, FOODTURE works to turn complex data into actionable tools for stakeholders across the entire value chain.
